Statutory audits
We perform our audit engagement with due care, skill, and diligence to examine our client’s financial statements and to evaluate the fairness of the presentation of the statement in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) as required by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria Act No 6, 2011 and the provisions of Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, which include a review of the system of internal control and tests of transactions to the extent we believe necessary. Our audit activities cover large, medium, and small companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships.

We adopt a Risk-based audit” approach which blends technical competencies with a detailed knowledge of the client and their needs. Prior to commencing an audit, our audit teams will visit to understand how the business operates and obtain an in-depth understanding of the risks associated with the business operation. Our audit methodology has been developed with SME as a priority. Of course, we need to complete an audit in accordance with relevant international and national standards but our audit process is flexible, which enables our audit teams to modify their audit approach to better match the client’s needs and circumstances.
